UK-Based Gleanin Plants Its North American Flag in Miami, Florida

Business development icon Heather Holst-Knudsen joins the attendee acquisition software firm.

LONDON, UK–Tamar Beck, CEO of London-based attendee acquisition software company Gleanin, today announced the appointment of Heather Holst-Knudsen as Head of Sales North America.

Holst-Knudsen, who is based in Miami, Florida, is well known in both the event technology and event organizer communities in the U.S. She is a sales leader in the SaaS, digital media, events, and information industries and has developed next-generation sales organizations that integrate Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, Sales Development, Account Executive, Customer Success, and Account Management functions into a high performance “Revenue Room.”

Holst-Knudsen said, “I am looking forward to expanding on the groundwork Gleanin has laid with its marketing initiatives and lending my expertise in event technology, growth and sales enablement to a very talented team of attendee acquisition professionals.”

Gleanin officially entered the North America market in January, 2018 and has presided over a growing portfolio of U.S. exhibition organizers and events. The company was established in 2011 in London and currently manages a global portfolio of more than 700 events. Holst-Knudsen is the first executive to join the sales team outside of Europe.
